How do you keep a 7-year-old and almost-5-year-old quiet while you're at your doctor's appointment? You give them each a latex glove and tell them to make balloons. Works every time.

Since I became a military wife, I've learned alot about who my true friends are, and things that I once thought were important, all of a sudden seemed very trivial. It definitely puts things into perspective.
