I Am the Lighthouse
My parents are in town for a few days on their way home from a trip to the Outer Banks, NC. My mom loves lighthouses and they visited a bunch of them along the coast last weekend. She mentioned that there was one here in Charleston that she'd like to see so we piled in the car and headed out to Folly Beach to see the Morris Island Lighthouse.

Waterfront Park
The weather has been beautiful lately, and with our weekends free, we've been trying to get out of the house with the kids on Saturdays. Money's really tight so we're trying to spend as little as possible. Our usual routine is to hit the beach-we just spend money in the parking meter. But today we went to Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston, and for a whopping $0.60 for 45 minutes in the parking meter, we had a wonderful picnic lunch!

Christmas Photo Shoot
Today we took the kids to the Dorchester Historic Site and the Battery in downtown Charleston to take some Christmas pictures. It was cold so we didn't get to do as much as I'd hoped, but the ones we did get were great!
